1 tbsp of sliced gingerroot
1/3 cup miso paste
1 tbsp sake (Japanese rice wine)
2 tbsp chopped green onion
2 tbsp chopped tofu
Simmer stock or water with ginger. Discard the ginger . Take about a cup of the stock and mix with the miso paste gradually until it is blended well. Then add the rest of the ingredients and enjoy.
